Friday 2 November Quiz Nights, FIFO Royals and Test Cricket ABC Giving Tree Quiz Nights It's been 25 years since Ric Paterson first urged listeners to leave toys under a small pine Christmas tree in Hobart's ABC foyer. Now the ABC Giving Tree is Tasmania's biggest Christmas charity and there are lots of ways to get involved. With six locations across the state, there's sure to be a night near you! >> Find a quiz night near you FIFO Royals On Thursday Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall are flying into Hobart for a brief visit as part of their two week tour across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Listen to the Your Afternoon and Drive programs as our Royal Radio Correspondent, Jo Spargo, reports from the field. Your Afternoon: Jo Spargo will be hosting on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. On Tuesday, Your Afternoon will broadcast from around the Melbourne Cup, brought to you live from Melbourne Grandstand. Drive: will be statewide on Monday with Louise Saunders and on Friday with Damien Brown (online because of cricket, see below). Breakfast: the week commencing November 12 presenter Belinda will be taking a break. Helen Shield (pictured), the newest addition to ABC Northern Tasmania and Belinda's regular producer, will be in the big red chair.
