Greetings from ABC Classic FM where our focus on Australian music continues, along with live music from the Huntington Music Festival, Met Opera cinema tickets to win, and copies of our Australian CD of the week to give away, too!

HUNTINGTON & AUSTRALIAN MUSIC MONTH
Highlight

More great music this weekend from the Huntington Music Festival in Mudgee NSW when Emma Ayres hosts a live broadcast from 7pm Saturday. Armenian-born clarinettist Narek Arutyunian and the Australian String Quartet will perform Carl Maria von Weber's Clarinet Quintet. Other highlights include performances from mezzo-soprano Fiona Campbell with the Enso String Quartet.

SUNDAY LIVE IN ADELAIDE
Highlight

Sunday 25 November, 3pm - Elizabeth Layton and Kristian Chong

Pianist Kristian Chong returns to Sunday Live this week with violinist and former leader of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra Elizabeth Layton. Together they'll perform Mozart's Violin Sonata No 32 in B flat, K454, Debussy's Sonata in G minor and Ravel's Tzigane.

It's FREE and no booking is required. Please come along to Studio 520, ABC Adelaide, 85 North East Road, Collinswood. Please be seated by 2.20pm as the live broadcasts begin promptly at 2.30pm Adelaide time.

Evening Concert - Sydney Symphony with Scott Davie - LIVE
Sydney pianist joins the Sydney Symphony in tonight's live broadcast from the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall. Vladimir Ashkenazy conducts Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No 4 in G minor Op 40 (Australian premiere of the original version), and Tchaikovsky's Manfred Symphony, Op 58.

Saturday 24 November - 7pm
Evening Concert - Huntington Music Festival - LIVE
Live from Mudgee, NSW, tonight's performers include mezzo-soprano Fiona Campbell, the Enso String Quartet, the Australian String Quartet and the Australian National Academy of Music Chamber Music performing Purcell, Barber, Ravel, Tchaikovsky and more.

Sunday 25 November - 7pm
Sunday Opera - Richard Bonynge's 50th Anniversary
To celebrate his 50th anniversary as a conductor, Richard Bonynge conducted this concert version of Handel's Rodelinda last month at the City Recital Hall in Sydney.

Monday 26 November - 9pm
Evening Concert - ANAM Australian Voices: Nigel Westlake
Musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music are joined by pianist Michael Kieran Harvey to perform works by Australian composer Nigel Westlake, including Tall Tales But True, Piano Sonata No 1 and Rare Sugar.

Tuesday 27 November - 1pm
Afternoon Concert - 2012 Peninsula Summer Music Festival
At this year's Peninsula Summer Music Festival in Mornington, Victoria, Jamie Hey (baroque cello) and Laura Vaughan (viola da gamba) perform a selection, including Couperin's Concert XIII in G from Les gouts reunis, Masse's Sonata Prima and Mozart's String Quartet in E flat, K428.

Wednesday 28 November - 9.15pm
Evening Concert - ANAM Australian Voices: James Ledger
Musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music perform works by Australian composer James Ledger, including All Hail the Machine, Inscriptions and Devils on the Underground.

Thursday 29 November - 1pm
Afternoon Concert - ANAM Australian Voices: Richard Meale
Musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music perform works by Australian composer Richard Meale, including Lumen, String Quartet No 1 and Incredible Floridas (Homage to Rimbaud).

Friday 30 November - 8pm
2012 Peninsula Summer Music Festival
From the Peninsula Summer Music Festival in Mornington, Victoria, the Festival Chamber Orchestra is joined by Siobhan Stagg (soprano), Dimity Shepherd (mezzo-soprano) and Rachael Beesley (concertmaster) to perform Hasse's Antonio e Cleopatra.
