Stewart House was established in 1930 to provide respite care to youngsters in times of crisis and need. Today, around 1800 children from around NSW and the ACT visit each year. During their stay, they are provided with optometric, dental and medical treatment as well as emotional support. This moving documentary uncovers stories from the past and present, and demonstrates how Stewart House helps children through difficult times, often changing lives for the better. If you missed last Sunday's episode Divine Women - Part 6 you can watch it on our website or on iView. Compass is also repeated on Tuesdays at 1.30pm on ABC1.
