 | | Evenings in 2013 We are sending the newsletter early and the reason is that today we made the announcement that Helen Shield is set take over the role of Evenings Presenter in 2013. As you all know (because we introduced her to you via the newsletter) Helen arrived in Tasmania just a few months ago to take up the position of Breakfast producer for ABC Northern Tasmania. You've already heard Helen on air, she took over for a week when Belinda King had a break earlier this month. After stints in places like outback Queensland and Cambodia, sweltering through 45 degree summers and months of monsoon season, Helen finds the green and pleasant hills of the Apple Isle very welcoming. Radio has been part of Helen's life since 2003. She looks forward to presenting Evenings and says of her new gig, "it's going to be like a community-wide dinner party conversation with anecdotes, meaty discussion, laughs and intimate revelations all tumbling out - with a great soundtrack to boot." >>More about Helen and the full lineup
