For the motion: Beth Williams, Prof Loane Skene & Dr Philip Nitschke. Against the motion: Dr Shakira Hussein, Scott Stephens & Assoc Prof Bill Silvester. You might just find your stance is shifted on the issue. Dr Simon Longstaff from the St James Ethics Centre opens and drives the debate.

Friday 11.30pm on ABCNEWS24 - Should we engineer the human body to combat climate change? Philosopher and bioethicist Matthew Liao has tackled the ecological footprint of the human body and at the Sydney Opera House's 2012 Festival of Dangerous Ideas - Liao asserts we should be re-engineered!

Sunday 10.30pm on ABCNEWS24 - According to Jesse Bering 'We're All Sexual Perverts'! Jesse is a psychologist and writes for Slate. In this speech at the 2012 Festival of Dangerous Ideas at Sydney Opera House he runs through a great semantic and social history of perversions. You may or may not be, amazed and informed.
