Welcome to this week's edition of What's On Australia Network. Your guide to our TV program highlights. Good Game comes to Australia Network this week - the Australian series by gamers, for gamers, with reviews, behind the scenes action and great tips for gamers (and gamer girls!) everywhere. Also on Wednesday night, we see Australia's iconic Bondi Beach from a new perspective as we meet one of Sydney's busiest vets, the charming Dr Chris Brown in the new series Bondi Vet. It's a different world for country vet Dr Kate McDonald who's trying to keep her community together in the face of unrelenting drought in our new Friday drama series Rain Shadow. Tonight, see what the future holds as Catalyst returns with stories of discovery and scientific breakthrough, big and small. Then, stay tuned for the debate of the week with Q&A or watch the live stream on our website: http://australianetwork.com/video/ Discover the radical hackers who've redefined civil disobedience in the digital age with our feature length documentary We are Legion: The Story of the Hacktivists on Sunday. And if you love documentaries, two great series also start this week: In Two on the Great Divide tonight, satirist John Doyle and former Australian of the Year, environmentalist Tim Flannery reach new heights as they travel from Cape Otway on the Victorian coast to the Grampians and on to the Australian Alps. And is this the beginning of the end? On Tuesday the series Civilisation: Is the West History looks at the rise of China as an economic powerhouse and what that means for the declining economies of the United States and Europe. Don't miss the series finale of Offspring on Tuesday - a whole new series starts next week. On Friday join Poh as she takes her wok on the road with a journey through the tastes of Thailand. And on Sunday we keep asking the big questions - what is art and culture? The new series Not Quite Art continues on Sunday Lights, followed by a very personal insight into the work of contemporary indigenous and Torres Strait Islander artists in art + soul. There's something for everyone on Australia Network this week! | ![]() |
