Thursday 24 January 2013 Dear Everyone, I've been back on deck at 702 Mornings for more than a week now and we've hit the ground running in 2013. Actually, it's more like walking, but a very, very long way. I've spent the summer training for Coastrek on 1 March, the annual walk (50km for us, 100km for others) to raise money for the Fred Hollows Foundation. Training has been fun, but tough. My favourite shoes fell apart, giving me blisters. So I bought a new pair and I'm breaking them in. But will they loosen up in time? Soon on 702 Mornings I'll introduce the other three Coastrek team members - Carolyn, my regular walking and running partner; Mick, my brother-in-law who has now given up smoking; and George, a keen-as-mustard 702 listener.
