Thursday 24 January ABC brings Australia Day to the nation 666 ABC Canberra's Alex Sloan will present an Australia Day special from 7pm tomorrow on Australia Day eve broadcast live nationally across ABC Local Radio from the lawns of Parliament House. Featuring the first interviews with the Australian of the Year award recipients, tune to your 666AM to stay informed with all the news and information. ABC Local has again joined forces with Volunteering Australia to raise awareness about the importance of volunteering and highlight areas in need of volunteers in your community. 'Help Australia Day' will be broadcast on Saturday 26 January via your ABC Local Radio, 666 ABC Canberra.
