Earlier reports had suggested the shooter, believed to be 20-year-old Adam Lanza, was admitted to the building because he was known to staff. The bodies of the victims have been removed from the scene and formally identified, but their names have not yet been released. Police said they would provide more information on the gunman and his victims later today, adding they had found "very good evidence" during their investigation.
