Friday 22 December Program Highlights for the coming week As we move into the second week of the summer schedule I thought that you'd like to know about some of the highlights. Tomorrow you'll hear from Chris Wisbey as usual on Saturday Breakfast . Following Gardening Talkback with Peter Cundall, Kelli Brett will be along with a special edition of The Main Ingredient Chef Special , where she'll be finding out how some of our top chefs spend Christmas, her guests include Kylie Kwong and Neil Perry. And to prove that you can't keep a good nerd down, our own nerds, Joel and Andrew, are back with the Nerdzilla End of Year Special . On Sunday our old friend Andrea Ho takes over the Australia All Over mic before Kelli is back with more celebrity chefs and they we'll hear from our own regional youth with the Heywire Special . On Monday Chris Wisbey will be here for Statewide Breakfast to be followed by National Mornings with Leon Compton. On Christmas Day Ryk Goddard moves into the National Mornings chair with some special offerings for the nation, including Dean Stevenson and friends with a musical wrap up of the year in song. Boxing Day has Leon back on National Mornings but of course it's Boxing Day so that means the Cricket's on the Radio and Leon's on the stream. Peter Newlinds will be crossing in from the beginning of the Sydney to Hobart before zipping back to Hobart to greet the fleet as they cross the finish line. On Thursday and Friday you'll have Ryk for Statewide Breakfast and Leon for National Mornings. >> Listen live, on air, on the stream or on your phone The Big Bash - too much cricket is never enough If you can't get enough of the cricket during the day, we've also got the Big Bash in the evenings, some fixtures are on the radio and all are on the stream. He's in good company with The Mentalist's Simon Baker, the wondrous Essie Davis (on ABC 1 tonight for an encore of Miss Fisher's Mysteries ) and Launceston's lovely Rachael Taylor. Ryk got the nod for his debut screen role in the docu-drama The First Fagin which had its Tasmanian premier at BOFA earlier this year. Online reporter Damien Larkins' story on the Aurora Australis was one of the most viewed stories on ABC Online this year.
