A great many things are on offer next week. On Monday we look at one of the great passions in life - music. Why does it evoke such complex feelings in us? Evolutionary biologists believe they may have the answer.

On Tuesday, the Australian author Monica McInerney joins us. Monica's novels are rich studies of the family unit and she writes of sibling rivalries and allegiances, illicit affairs, relationship breakdown, and estranged brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts - the whole gamut. But what about her own life story? Also on Tuesday - Brave Online. It's an online service to help extremely shy kids overcome their social anxieties.

And on Friday our guest is the former President of Ireland and now human rights campaigner, the indomitable Mary Robinson.
