Thanks to everyone who contributed on air, online and everywhere, it's your contributions that make each Classic 100 such an entertaining journey. AUSTRALIAN SINGING COMPETITION FINALS - LIVE
Highlight

Join us from 7pm this Thursday 25 October when we'll cross live to the newly named Joan Sutherland Theatre at the Sydney Opera House for the Finals of Australasia's richest competition for young opera and classical singers. The five young finalists will battle it out, accompanied by the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra conducted by Johannes Fritzsch.

Highlight

In the November of issue of ABC Limelight, superstar mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli tells how she discovered a lost genius of the Baroque and devoted her new album to his music. We hear how the sounds of New York inspired composer John Cage to redefine what music is. There's also a preview of what's happening on the arts and music scene in 2013, along with a look at the results our own Classic 100 Countdown: Music of France.

Sunday 21 October 3pm - Intimate Music

Our French chamber music season continues in today's concert from the Perth Town Hall. Andrew Nicolso (flute), Louise McKay (cello) Giovanni Pasini (viola) and David Wickham (piano) team up to bring you music by Durufle, Debussy, Martinu, and Vieuxtemps.

Today's concert is at the Perth Town Hall. All are welcome to attend, however audience are required to be seated by 11:50am as the broadcasts will begin at 12pm sharp.

Friday 19 October - 8pm
Evening Concert - AYO National Music Camp 2012
Recorded in the Llewellyn Hall, ANU School of Music, Canberra, earlier this year, tonight's concert from the Australian National Youth Orchestra's Music Camp includes Iain Grandage's The Wild Geese performed by the Nelson Cooke Chamber Orchestra and Mendelssohn's String Symphony No 4 in C minor featuring Mats Zetterqvist.

Saturday 20 October - 8pm
Saturday Evening Concert - Orchestra Victoria
Orchestra Victoria perform in this concert from the Melbourne Recital Centre Mostly Mozart Series 2012. We'll hear Rossini's The Barber of Seville: Overture, Haydn's Sinfonia concertante in B flat Hob.I:105 and Mozart's Symphony No 41 in C, K551 (Jupiter).

Sunday 21 October - 1pm
Sunday Afternoon Concert - German Symphony Orchestra
Recorded in the Philharmonie, Berlin, this concert features Ewa Podles (contralto), the Berlin Radio Chorus, and is conducted by Tugan Sokhiev. Featuring Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky Op 78 and Shostakovich's Symphony No 4 in C minor Op 43.

Monday 22 October - 8pm
Evening Concert - Sydney Conservatorium of Music
Recorded in the Verbrugghen Hall, Sydney Conservatorium of Music, tonight's concert features Mozart's Serenade in B flat for 13 instruments (Gran Partita) K361 and Dvorak's Wind Serenade in D minor B77 (Op 44).

Tuesday 23 October - 1pm
Afternoons Concert - Australian Youth Orchestra
In the Elisabeth Murdoch Hall, Melbourne Recital Centre, the Australian Youth Orchestra
is conducted by Christopher Hogwood. We'll hear two works by Mendelssohn: A Midsummer Night's Dream: Incidental Music Op 61 and Symphony No 3 in A minor, Op 56 (Scottish).

Wednesday 24 October - 8pm
Evening Concert - ABC 80th Anniversary Concert Season
As part of the ABC 80th Anniversary Concert Season, we're featuring the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra's 60th Anniversary Gala performance recorded 12 July 2008 in the Federation Concert Hall, Hobart. The program includes Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor  Op 16 and Beethoven's Symphony No 5 in C minor, Op 67.

Thursday 25 October - 7pm
Evening Concert - 2012 Australian Singing Competition Final - LIVE
Live from the Opera Theatre, Sydney Opera House, Guy Noble hosts the 2012 Australian Singing Competition Final. The Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra will be conducted by Johannes Fritzsch.

Friday 26 October - 8pm
Evening Concert - ABC 80th Anniversary Concert Season
As part of the ABC 80th Anniversary Concert Season, tonight's concert is the Gala Opening of the Perth Concert Hall, recorded Friday 26 January 1973. West Australian Symphony Orchestra is featured along with the South Australian Symphony Orchestra, University of WA Choral Society and soloists including soprano Lesley Perrin, mezzo-soprano Kathleen Edgar and tenor Clive Griffiths.
