Jeremy Sims on Dangerous Remedy

SUNDAY, 8.30PM

Dangerous Remedy will have you on the edge of your seat this Sunday night. Based on a real events and set in 1960s Melbourne, it tells the story of Dr Bertram Wainer – a man whose efforts to change abortion laws unravelled an even greater scandal of corruption.

The cast includes Jeremy Sims, Susie Porter and William McInnes. We chatted to Jeremy about the story.

Five filmmaking teams, with a director under 35, are given the opportunity to create a half-hour documentary. The result is the new series, Opening Shot. The first story, 'Dating The H*Bomb' takes a look at what still remains much of a taboo.
