Hello Everyone
Welcome to the last newsletter for the year. And what a year it has been. We have had a lot of wonderful feedback from viewers and others in the media as you will have noticed if you have checked out the right hand side of our website!
I hope you have enjoyed the stories, and a little tip – we have some excellent programs to begin 2013 with so don't forget us over the Christmas/New Year break.
Now onto our last program for 2012...
This Monday night we invite you to catch up on the latest adventures of Zelie Bullen. From the Gold Coast to Hollywood, Zelie is a world renowned animal trainer and horse whisperer. Now, she is in-demand from the big top. You may remember we first met Zelie a year ago, when she'd been working with Steven Spielberg on his Oscar nominated movie, War Horse. Since then her life has continued to unfold in interesting directions.
Brisbane based producer Kristine Taylor and our Brissy crew did the last bit of filming with Zelie this morning so editor Roger Carter is working feverishly putting the new footage into the 2011 story. As I need to put the preview up today I will be using the original story, so you will have to tune in on Monday night to see what Zelie has been up to in the last 12 months. You can check out the preview at www.abc.net.au/austory
And I just thought I would let you know that we won't be having a summer series on ABC1 this year, but there will be repeats on News24. So keep an eye on your local TV guides.
Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and keep an eye on your inbox's in early Feb next year for the return of the Australian Story Newsletter!
Cheers
Kelly Williams
