Balls, Bikes, Giggle & Hoot!

Thursday January 10 How good is my job? I get to read the paper, watch tele, meet famous people and talk to a wide cross section of listeners. Throw in a couple of cups of coffee and the chance to work with young enthusiastic people and it's a life to be envied. Sometimes I feel like a complete fraud when I think about the tough job that so many people have. Don't get me wrong, there are moments of stress and deadlines to be met, but at the end of each day I am guaranteed to have met someone interesting and learnt something new about our state. In a week I am back on the road reflecting what's going on in Adelaide in my role as the roving reporter, but in the year ahead I hope to travel beyond the city limits more often because my heart is in the country and there is so much to explore.  Thank you for putting up with me during the festive season, I'm confident our paths will cross at some stage.
