Books, Broadcasting, Books, Broadcasting.

Sonya will be broadcasting the Afternoons program live from the forecourt of the State Library of South Australia   on Friday 7 December. If you work in the city or are planning a visit to town that afternoon, come along and say hi between 1pm and 4pm. We're at the Library because it's our final 891 Book Club segment for the year at 2.30pm and we want to hear what your favourite read of 2012 has been. The first 50 listeners who turn up at the broadcast will receive a free double pass to an exclusive preview screening of an exciting new film that was a very popular book - The Life of Pi. This 3D screening on December 11 will be hosted by Sonya and will include a discussion with 891 film reviewer Nick Prescott on the tricky task of making films from popular books.
